After all of that I feel that I should stand by what I wrote and remain Proud to be Southern Baptist and Proud of my denomination. I am sorry that you took it the way you did because my intention was not in a boastful way but in an excited way to see all that God is doing through our denomination. It&#39;s so exciting that I can&#39;t help to tell others about it. Just as a Parent would be proud of their child for living for Jesus so am I proud of our denomination for living for Jesus. <br /><br />God is doing a great work and during a time when so many are not proud of this denomination I am more excited than ever, not in a prideful way to show off or brag but in a humble way and thankful that God would choose to use us so greatly for His Kingdom. <br /><br />I would love to continue this dialogue with you if you would like. Proverbs 6:17.<br /><br />Christianity makes people proud and boastful.<br /><br />That is the error of this false religion. <br /><br />True, there is much good being done in the world by Christians, but let them examine themselves , to see if they are truly in the faith of Jesus Christ.<br /><br />Most Christians do not even acknowledge the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the &quot;sign&quot;. . the &quot;witness&quot; of of being born again.
